Harmony Explosion 2010
Who - For any young man that completed the 8th through the 12th grade in 2010 and those currently enrolled in college that have NOT reached age 21.
What - Vocal Harmony Camp with an emphasis on the barbershop harmony style as well as other vocal styles, with great coaching and training.
Where - On the campus of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Your camp hosts are the MountainTown Singers, an award winning chorus.
When - Tuesday through Thursday, August 10-12, 2010. Registration on Tuesday morning. Release following the big show on Thursday night.
Why - To learn to use your voice to its' highest potential and to learn how to blend your voice with others to create really great vocal sound.
Cost - Camp Fee is $199. The camp is for three days and two nights. It includes
- Lodging and meals on campus to include linens for each camper. (Four per room)
- Music and learning tracks for four songs.
- Two FREE tickets for the Thursday night show. (A $40 value)
- Performance in the University Concert Hall Featuring
- Resisting-a-Rest, 2010 International Senior Quartet Champs
- Prestige, 2009 College Quartet Contest Medalists
- The MountainTown Singers, 2010 Internatioinal competitors
- Evening activities including a movie and recreation time.
- Camp Director, Ron Black, 2010 Keynote speaker at Harmony University.
- Teaching Quartet, Prestige, an award winning college quartet.
